Thesis Title: Domestic dogs as invasive species: from local to global impacts

Dr. Kathryn E. Sieving

About

I am interested in the wildlife conservation in human-dominated landscapes. Broadly defined this considers effects of land cover change on the viability of native species, human-wildlife conflicts and the effects of domestic carnivores on wildlife. My current research priorities include the interactions between human-subsidized predators and wildlife, in the context of land cover change. In particular I am working on assessing the impacts of domestic dogs on native ungulates and carnivores in Chile under different ecological contexts.
